Here is a press release on Issuewire:
"Mercy" is a timely song that resonates with our 21st-century culture, delivering its message powerfully in a world that desperately needs people of mercy and grace. This need is evident in daily interactions and highlighted by Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde’s public call for mercy. Avery Stafford's new single captures this theme in an engaging manner.
In an interview with Rick Beato, Sting mentioned, "If I'm not musically surprised within the first eight bars, I've stopped listening." "Mercy" immediately captures listeners' attention with its unique two-meter rhythm. The lyrical hook is both infectious and memorable. With the addition of a talented vocal ensemble, "Mercy" is poised to become a favorite among musical influencers, playlist creators, radio DJs, and others.
This high-quality track features skilled musicians, including Matt Mendoza on guitar, Adam Nitti on bass, and Marcus Finnie on drums, all complemented by Avery's lyrical artistry and passionate vocal performance. Beyond its musical achievement, "Mercy" stands as a praise and worship song that many will want to sing.
"Mercy" is set to be released on June 19, 2025, and will be distributed by Tunecore. A free downloadable chord chart will be available at averystafford.com, and official audio and lyric videos will be released on YouTube soon.
