Additionally, his rendition of "How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You)" was well-received. One of the tracks on the album, "Eyes of a Child," earned Stafford the March 2007 Winner Award for Best Song in the Song of the Year International Songwriting Competition. Stafford's sixth album, "End of Five" (2012), received critical acclaim from Soul Tracks and other music critics.

More About Avery:
Sometimes, the only explanation for a song is inspiration and divine providence. This is true for "Everything I Own." Avery does not remember the exact circumstances surrounding the song’s composition. He recalls, "All I can remember is picking up my Washburn acoustic guitar, and the entire song downloaded into my spirit in less than an hour."
Avery also shares a memorable moment when he first played the song demo for his friend Steve Maxwell. "Steve's reaction startled me a bit. I thought he had heard it before, but that was not the case. He was slightly annoyed that I had waited so long to share it."
"Everything I Own" stands out from Avery's previous work. He created a lyrical, allegorical story in which he portrays himself as a Black slave "standing on an auction block waiting for buyers to bid on the value of life." The shocking reveal in the chorus is that Jesus Christ outbid all other potential buyers with a high price that only "He was willing to pay." The significant price that Jesus was willing to pay for Avery's life is expressed in the line: "I will give everything I own."
The song was written in 1999 and later included in the 2004 album *Undignified*. It was never released as a single until now. It is set to be released and promoted as a Christian R&B track. Tunecore will distribute a remastered radio-edited version on March 20, 2025.
